Founder of the firm
A chartered accountant on a lifelong mission to advance ownership.
Luthando Maduna qualified with a BCom Accounting degree at the University of Johannesburg in 2005. In 2012 and 2013 he completed his Postgraduate Diploma at Unisa, passed his board examinations in 2016 and registered with SAICA as a Chartered Accountant.
He brings over 20 years of extensive private and public sector experience, and designed the Wealth Rotation System — a model used to assist ordinary people to own shares or participate in businesses and share in profits as they buy their daily essentials. He serves as a Director at SASSA, responsible for financial statements.
He founded the Luthando Maduna Foundation to champion the mission of building a New City of Alexandra using the Shop Where You Own model. He believes that if people shop where they own, those businesses can be used to end inequality and poverty — replacing informal settlements and underserved areas with the money generated by everyday consumption.
It is his lifelong mission. He has dedicated over two decades to researching and developing solutions that advance more people into ownership.

Passed his board examinations and registered with SAICA as a Chartered Accountant, CA(SA).

Serves as a Director at the South African Social Security Agency, responsible for financial statements.

He designed the Wealth Rotation System to help ordinary people own shares, participate in businesses and share in profits as they buy their daily essentials.

After years of travelling the country in pursuit of his career, Luthando spends his time with family. He is a committed Arsenal supporter, enjoys taking long walks and plays the game of chess.
